Job Summary

Drilling Manager (Geotechnical) oversees daily scheduling, safety, and logistics for geotechnical drill crews, including assignment scheduling for in-house and outside clients, underground utilities clearance, and attendance at on-site utility locator meetings. Responsible for equipment/tool/supply ordering, field inspections for safety and project-compliance, fleet maintenance/DOT compliance, and reviewing daily field data (drill logs, reports, tailgate safety). Interfaces with engineers, branch/project managers, and clients for project setup and logistics; prepares subcontract agreements and rental agreements; estimates drilling projects and develops proposals; prepares drilling submittals (staff resumes, equipment/material lists, pre-qualification forms); prepares change orders, monitors budgets, and assists with project invoicing and accounts receivable. Participation in networking events and other duties as required to support the Branch Manager. Salary offered is commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package.

Required Qualifications

  • Preferred 5 years or more of experience as a Geotechnical Driller or inspecting geotechnical drill crews in the field
