Job Summary
Digitize project surveys, collect and file required spatial data, and generate maps for the Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams. Acquire hands-on experience with industry software including ArcGIS Pro, FME, and Global Mapper while gaining exposure to site operations such as scouting, earthworks, and reclamation. Collaborate with professionals to build planning maps and manage data within the Data, Analytics and Reporting team. This 12-month work term in Calgary begins January 2027 with a safety-sensitive schedule of five days on, two days off.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd year of a GIS program
- Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
