Drilling & Completions Data Technician

Job Summary
Manage daily drilling and completions data workflows by capturing, validating, and reporting field information to ensure reliable inputs for engineering teams. Maintain dashboards and reports tracking performance metrics, well costs, and operational standards while keeping wellbore diagrams and procedure documentation current and audit-ready. Partner with well site supervisors to configure field software and support HSE, Land, and Regulatory teams with compliance data pulls. Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality across systems. This hands-on role connects field operations with technical decision-makers within Fervo's geothermal development program.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in drilling and completions data management, well site data systems, or a related technical role
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in fast-paced, execution-focused project environments
- A deep curiosity paired with a drive to continuously improve how the company captures, organizes, and uses data
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with WellView or similar drilling and completions data systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with WellView and Power BI
- Working knowledge of drilling and completions terminology, wellbore diagrams, and daily operations reports
- High attention to detail and comfort working with messy, real-time field data
