Job Summary
Driller role with Ventia operating conventional/RC hammer and water-well drilling rigs, responsible for day-to-day rig coordination, site setup, loading of drill casing and auxiliary equipment, and maintenance of downhole drilling equipment. Conducts Job Hazard Analysis, site inspections, and toolbox meetings; mentors offsiders and contributes to a strong safety culture. Holds or will obtain required licences and certifications (HR Licence, drilling qualifications, water well licences) and must be physically fit for hands-on, demanding work; rostered 2:2 with potential 2:1 periods, and arrangement includes return flights to Roxby Downs and on-site accommodation. Demonstrates safety-conscious teamwork, equipment maintenance, and stock management while ensuring efficient drilling operations.

- Open HR Driver’s Licence
- Certificate III in Drilling Operations (required)
- Class 1, 2, 3 Water Well Drilling Licence
- First Aid
- Forklift
- Backhoe
- Front End Loader
- Police check
- In-clinic medical (drug and alcohol testing)
