Job Summary
Driller Helper supports drilling operations by assisting the Lead Driller in RC, Diamond Core and Sonic drilling activities, helps prepare tools and supplies, maintains a clean and organized rig site, and handles rock/core samples. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down drill rigs, handling drill rods and sampling components, maintaining sample integrity, assisting with routine rig inspections and maintenance, and following all safety protocols. The role involves physical labor, operating hand tools under supervision, and working in varied terrains and weather. This is an entry-level position with significant training and career development opportunities, offering LOA, overtime, health/dental/vision/LTD insurance, PTO, and competitive pay. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel and work on-site
- CDL is preferred but not required
- MSHA safety certification preferred but not required
- Reliability and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving and initiative skills
