Job Summary
Assist the Driller with soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classifications, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation. Load and unload augers, prepare tooling and supplies, locate boring sites, retrieve and log samples, and clean or maintain equipment. Perform site cleanup, retrieve and log samples, and maintain equipment. Work off shift and overtime as needed, including overnight hours and travel up to 60%. Lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance. Kneel, squat, and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Climb occasionally and work at various heights.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Ability to work off shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Ability to make discriminations in sound
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to climb occasionally
- Ability to work at various heights
- Ability to work over night hours
- Ability to work off shift

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year Driller Helper/Assistant experience
- CDL
