Job Summary
Operate and maintain drill rig plants while performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance. Enforce all safety protocols and provide training to junior staff on operations and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and operational activities. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to integrate drill rig operations seamlessly into construction projects. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience, and relevant certifications. Willingness to travel to project sites is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Drill Rig Specialist in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of drill rig operations, maintenance, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and train junior staff
- Certifications in drill rig operations and safety
- Willingness to Travel
- Ability and willingness to travel when required to project sites or other locations as part of job responsibilities
