Job Summary
Conduct routine well testing, including production, flow, and pressure tests, while troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in real-time. Operate and maintain advanced drill out equipment, separators, and manifold systems, performing minor repairs as needed. Collect and analyze data from testing operations to ensure accurate documentation and reporting to supervisory staff. Mentor junior operators and deliver clear training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge. Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and Job Safety Analyses, while collaborating with engineering teams to coordinate schedules. Requires minimum 7 years of oil field experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or technical certification in a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in oil field operations or well testing
- Advanced knowledge of drill out equipment and operational procedures
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to inspect equipment in various positions
- Physical capability to lift 50-100 lbs
- Ability to work long hours in extreme conditions
- Ability to work in high-noise environments (over 85 dBA)
- Ability to adapt to outdoor conditions, including extreme weather and various terrains
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
