Job Summary
Operate a track mounted Kelly Bar rotary drill using water medium for flush and prepare areas for shots. Perform maintenance on the drill and pumps, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues, and assist in loading and stemming blast patterns. Conduct daily and monthly machine inspections, greasing, drill logs, and bit replacements. Load and stem blast patterns, operate loaders and haul trucks, and participate in safety inspections adhering to MSHA regulations. Aids in training co-workers and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 6AM - 6PM hours
- Weekends as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience with Kelly Bar driven drills
- Experience with electric powered drill
- ATF Clearance
