Job Summary
Contour Drill Operator at Greenstone Mine to safely and productively operate a D65Smartroc, bore holes from 165mm to 229mm, and perform field level risk assessments. Responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping, refilling fluids, replacing tooling, completing logbooks and daily production/geology/safety reports, using two-way radio and horn signals for safety communication, and adjusting pull-down, hold-back, rotation and air pressures to optimize borehole quality as ground conditions change. Requires 3+ years of contour drilling experience at a mine site, valid driver’s license, and Heavy Equipment Operator training or related experience. Based in Geraldton, Ontario. Certifications/education: Heavy Equipment Operator training or related experience; Common Core for Surface Mining is an asset. Salary range CAD 107,976.00 to CAD 114,885.00.
