Job Summary
Experienced heavy equipment drill operator needed for construction/quarry drilling. Operate Epiroc top hammer drills and perform safe drilling in accordance with the job program. Maintain equipment, understand drill patterns and layout, and prepare drill reports and hole sheets. Requires 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50-100 lbs., and willingness to travel as indicated by stipend. Salary $24-30/hr DOE plus daily travel stipend; location: Saratoga Springs, NY. Training certifications (Driller I/II) are required. Participate in safety and foreman meetings and work unsupervised while maintaining safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
