Job Summary
Experienced heavy equipment drill operator needed for construction/quarry drilling. Safely perform drilling activity per job program, operate Epiroc top hammer drills, and maintain equipment in safe, efficient condition. Follow safety policies, execute drill patterns, maximize drill supplies, and produce timely drill reports and hole sheets. Participate in foreman, safety, and job-specific meetings; work unsupervised with focus on safety and efficiency. Requires 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50-100 lbs, and ATF screenings. Training certifications for Driller I and Driller II preferred; advancement opportunities and promotion-from-within offered.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- Must have personal cell phone for communications
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
