Job Summary
Experienced heavy equipment drill operator needed for construction/quarry drilling using Epiroc top hammer drills. Must have 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience, valid license, and construction industry background. Responsibilities include safe drilling per job program, performing daily maintenance, implementing drill patterns and layouts, inventorying drill supplies, reporting via drill reports and timecards, and participating in safety/foreman meetings. Opportunity for internal advancement with a majority employee-owned company; includes a daily travel stipend and potential for promotion from within.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- Must have personal cell phone for communications
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
- Complete Driller I and Driller II training certifications
