Job Summary
Operate hydraulic drilling equipment to perform construction or quarry drilling in accordance with the job program, ensuring safe, efficient operation while following established drill patterns and layout. Maintain equipment and manage drill supplies, complete drill reports and hole sheets, and submit timely timecards. Communicate terrain conditions and problems to the Blasting Supervisor; participate in safety and job-specific meetings; work unsupervised with strong safety practices; complete Driller I and II training certifications; demonstrate mechanical aptitude and physical ability to lift heavy loads and work on varied terrains. This role supports internal advancement opportunities and requires 5+ years of hydraulic drilling experience, familiarity with Epiroc top hammer drills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass ATF screenings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- Must have personal cell phone for communications
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
