Job Summary
Experienced heavy equipment drill operator needed for construction/quarry drilling. Responsibilities include safely performing drilling, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, coordinating with Blaster Foreman, preparing drill reports, completing training (Driller I/II), and working unsupervised as required. Qualifications include 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience, Epiroc top hammer drill experience preferred, valid driver's license with own transportation, ability to lift 50-100 lbs., pass ATF screenings, and strong mechanical aptitude. Travel stipend provided; DOE pay; located in New Haven, VT.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- Must have personal cell phone for communications
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs., 30-40% of the time
