Job Summary
Drill Operator (Construction) safely performs all construction or quarry drilling using hydraulic equipment, executes drill patterns and layouts as established by the Blaster Foreman, maintains and inventories drill supplies, completes drill reports and timecards, and adheres to safety policies. Requires 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience, experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar, valid driver's license with reliable transportation, ability to lift 50-100 lbs, and ability to pass ATF screenings. Position involves daily maintenance of drills, collaboration in team meetings, and potential travel to job sites; DOE pay rate is $24-30/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Experience with Epiroc top hammer drills or similar preferred
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment
- Must be able to pass ATF screenings
