Job Summary
Maintenance Engineer at Drift Palm Springs to perform preventative maintenance across the hotel, restaurant, pool, and public spaces; troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems; respond to guest and team member maintenance requests; assist with vendor coordination and property improvement projects; support event setups and breakdowns; maintain accurate maintenance logs and support safety procedures; contribute to ongoing property refreshes and seasonal changes; showcase hands-on problem-solving, independence, and strong organizational and guest-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel, resort, apartment, commercial building, or general facilities maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair work
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify practical solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license preferred
