Job Summary
Conduct daily clinical documentation improvement audits and analyze medical records to ensure accurate DRG coding and reimbursement. Review complex cases for compliance with coding guidelines, identify discrepancies in documentation, and provide feedback to clinicians on improving record quality. Maintain a portfolio of coded cases and collaborate with the team to refine coding standards and reduce claim denials. Requires active RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification, a bachelor's degree in nursing or allied health, and at least five years of medical coding experience including three years specifically in DRG coding. This onsite role in Quezon City supports the organization's commitment to data integrity and operational excellence in healthcare analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Active RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS
- Additional Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) credentials such as CDIP and/or CCDS
- 1.5 years of experience as a DRGV Auditor or Analyst
- A total of 5 years of experience in Medical Coding
- At least 3 years specifically in DRG coding
