Job Summary
Dredging & Marine Construction Superintendent responsible for ensuring on-water operations run efficiently, maintaining production and enforcing safety protocols. Serves as the point of contact between onsite workers and the Project Manager, manages day-to-day field activities, provides guidance and training, monitors safety, tracks milestones, communicates with the Project Manager, ensures compliance with contract terms, maintains daily field reports and emails, forecasts issues, and enforces company policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of superintendent experience on dredging or marine construction projects
- Ability to learn to plan, design, and review the work of others
- Experience on Army Corps of Engineers projects is highly desirable
- Must be able to travel
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License
- Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and interact professionally with managers and staff
- Boating or equipment certifications are a plus
- USACOE management or USACOE certifications are a plus
- OSHA certifications, First Aid, and CPR are a plus
