DREDGE OPERATOR - LEVERMAN- Texas/Louisiana Coastal

Job Summary
Dredge Leverman responsible for safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the dredge, including controlling cutter head, spuds, and winches; acts as the vessel's nerve center during dredging operations and coordinates with the captain and project engineer. Requires operating hydraulic dredge controls, monitoring gauges, maintaining detailed logs, and ensuring crew safety. Must meet minimum requirements (high school or equivalent, 2+ years as Leverman, strong safety/mechanical skills) and be authorized to work in the US; NCCCO preferred. Per diem provided for lodging; schedule typically 12-hour days with potential overtime and travel. This is a full-time, non-Sponsor position with standard weekly pay and rotation (4 weeks on, 2 weeks off).
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a Leverman, including hydraulic dredging
- Excellent safety and mechanical skills
- NCCCO Preferred
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
- Must be able to successfully pass all pre-employment screening (drug test, fit test) in addition to random drug and alcohol testing
- Must be authorized to work in the US, this position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship
