Job Summary
Operate and maintain the hydraulic dredge, completing daily logs and checking fluids and grease. Assist in mobilizations and demobilizations as needed, while communicating with superintendents, boat operators, engineers, and deck hands. Perform miscellaneous laborer duties and work independently in all weather conditions. Requires 5+ years of dredge operation experience, a valid driver's license, and Marine Construction expertise. Includes out-of-town Florida travel for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 to 5 years of experience operating a Hydraulic Dredge
- MUST have 5 + years plus in dredge operation experience
- Must maintain a valid Driver's license
- Experienced in Marine Construction
- Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required
- Be honest, hardworking, reliable, punctual and attitude to get the job done
- Position will require out of town (Florida) travel for extended periods
