Drawerbox Builder in Monarch Manufacturing, Inc. Hardware Department responsible for creating drawer boxes to fit quality cabinets. Read and comprehend order paperwork, blueprints, and diagrams; operate hand tools (glue guns, screw guns, drills, wood routers, etc.) and various saws (up-cut saw, table saw, dado saw, dovetail machine, etc.); identify materials/wood species; operate Vertical Edge Sander; maintain a clean, well-stocked workspace; cross-train in other areas during downtime; perform other duties as assigned; assess accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of work. Requires measuring to the nearest 1/16 inch, basic math, listening/communication, teamwork, and punctuality. Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required. Job location Sullivan, Illinois. Pay $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Work schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hours/week) with mandatory overtime as needed.
