Job Summary
Assemble drawer boxes using wood components, hardware, and fasteners according to work orders, specifications, and quality standards. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and small assembly equipment safely while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all workplace safety rules, use required PPE, and read instructions to ensure finished boxes meet dimension, finish, and accuracy standards. Inspect assemblies for defects and perform minor adjustments or rework as needed. Communicate issues with materials or processes to supervisors and meet production standards for output and efficiency. High school diploma required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read basic measurements and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and quality-focused
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach, for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs occasionally
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, expediting, production control, or cabinet industry
- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods
