Job Summary
Directs and oversees the school’s student organization activities for Dramatics Play 2, supervising elections, certifying results, approving club office candidates, training officers, guiding officers and members in their roles, submitting governing documents when organized, approving announcements and events, and representing the club at meetings and activities. Responsibilities include maintaining club records and compliance with district guidelines, coordinating with the Assistant Principal for Student Services and the Assistant Activity Director, ensuring access to activity accounts, overseeing annual inventory of equipment, and communicating effectively with staff, students, and the community. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, ability to interpret policies and documents, and capability to organize and manage multiple activities, meetings, and fundraising events.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media
- Ability to write professional communications
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from individuals and groups
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community members
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written form
- Ability to perform essential duties with an awareness of school district requirements and policies
- Experience supervising student organizations or clubs (preferred)
- Familiarity with district procedures (APSS, activities handbook)
- Ability to manage elections, approvals of candidates, and inventory of equipment
