Job Summary
Install and maintain stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water systems while reading plans and ensuring compliance with NZ building codes and council requirements. Lead a team of three waters workers, providing clear communication, mentoring, and leadership to deliver project outcomes. Enforce health and safety standards and actively promote a safe work culture. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to meet all infrastructure specifications. Requires minimum three years of civil infrastructure experience in New Zealand, a physically fit attitude, and a full Class 2 drivers licence. Desired Qualifications
- Experience in all civil urban infrastructure components (roading, footpaths and streetscapes)
- Confidence in water reticulation
- Experience working with three waters
- Installing and maintaining stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Knowledge of NZ building codes
- Knowledge of council requirements
- Experience working closely with Project Managers and Engineers
- Ability to provide clear communication, mentoring and leadership to the team
- Ability to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Ability to promote a safe work culture
- Full Class 2 drivers licence and RTW is preferred
