Job Summary
Drainage Group Leader to lead DRMP’s Northwest Florida transportation drainage and stormwater engineering team. Responsibilities include leading the design and delivery of transportation-related drainage and stormwater infrastructure projects; overseeing hydraulic and hydrologic analysis; preparing drainage reports, stormwater calculations, construction plans, specifications, and quantity estimates; ensuring compliance with FDOT standards, local municipal requirements, and environmental regulations; providing team mentorship, coordinating staffing, supporting recruiting, and developing future technical leaders; driving client development and regional market expansion through proposal development and strategic growth initiatives; overseeing staff to maintain technical excellence, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. Ideal candidate has heavy experience in transportation drainage engineering, FDOT standards, highway drainage design, hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, and leadership in a multidisciplinary engineering environment; PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 10+ years of progressive stormwater/drainage engineering experience
- Transportation drainage project experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
