Job Summary
Conduct drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work for commercial and residential service calls, providing camera service for mainline stoppages. Communicate effectively with customers, educate them on drain repair importance, and explain blockage resolutions. Submit quotes and service paperwork to management while maintaining a well-inventoried truck and protecting equipment. Respond to trouble and emergency calls timely, adhering to all FMCSA, DOT regulations, and safety protocols. Work independently outdoors in various weather conditions, completing overtime and on-call rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be able to work on-call rotations as needed
- Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations if applicable
- Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free
- Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs
- Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines
- Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 2 years of professional commercial driving experience (post-school)
- Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High-School Diploma
