Job Summary
Operate a dragline to mine aggregate limestone, performing digging, spoiling and loading with hand levers and foot pedals to position the boom; assist with repairs and component replacements; maintain safety per MSHA and environmental regulations; inspect rope and anticipate tooth changes; work as part of a crew to maintain a consistent dig sequence and windrow placement; requires capable teamwork, physical endurance, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a predominantly indoor/outdoor mining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior on-the-job experience as a heavy equipment operator is required
- Clean MVR
- Ability to work rotating shifts
