Dragline Operator

Job Summary
Operate a Manitowoc 4600 dragline to perform underwater sand and gravel extraction, site preparation with excavators/dozers, and related maintenance in a sand & gravel pit. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies; work as part of a team under a salaried supervisor; day shift 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Saturday, with overtime and varied shifts. Must have 5 years of dragline experience, ability to operate and maintain dragline equipment, basic computer skills, good communication, and English literacy. Welding or cutting experience is a plus; MSHA Part 48 training and Local 150 preference noted; haul trucks/loaders and other mine equipment experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 5 years of experience in Dragline operations
- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain Dragline mobile equipment
- Willing to work holidays, weekends, various shifts and overtime
- Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams
- Demonstrated ability to operate Dragline mobile equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Communication skills
- Previous welding, cutting experience a plus
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills (English)
- Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment experience preferred
- Part 48 MSHA training
- Local 150 preferred
