Job Summary
Dragline Operator responsible for underwater sand & gravel extraction with a Manitowoc 4600 dragline, site prep with excavators/dozers, and performing preventative maintenance; requires safety adherence, ability to operate dragline equipment, basic math/reading/writing, and willingness to work a day shift (6:00 AM–6:00 PM, Mon-Sat) with potential overtime; preferred experience in mining equipment and MSHA Part 48 training; located in Warrenville, IL with an emphasis on safety and PPE compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years of experience in Dragline operations
- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain Dragline mobile equipment
- Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, various shifts and overtime
- Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams
- Basic computer skills
- Communication skills
- Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment experience preferred
- Part 48 MSHA training
- Local 150 preferred
