Job Summary
SolidWorks Draftsperson needed to produce detailed SolidWorks drawings and documentation for custom engineered metal hull components in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include communicating with engineering, production, and management to maintain quality standards, tracking labor hours and project progress, and supporting drafting and production tasks. Company offers full-time hours, benefits, and a schedule Mon-Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM in Arlington, WA. Requirements include minimum 4 years SolidWorks drafting experience, strong attention to detail, reliability, ability to work independently and in a team, and basic math skills with a tape measure. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of SolidWorks drafting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Basic math skills and proficiency using a tape measure
- Frequent sitting and extended computer use
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials
- Work performed primarily in an office environment with regular interaction with production personnel
- Produce detailed, accurate SolidWorks drawings and documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain high standards of quality and drafting accuracy
- Communicate effectively with engineering, production, purchasing, and management teams
- Support a collaborative and positive workplace culture
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Accurately track labor hours, project progress, and material records
- Assist with other drafting and production-related tasks as assigned
