Job Summary
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for medical imaging equipment components and systems. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate design concepts into comprehensive technical drawings while ensuring accuracy in dimensions, tolerances, and adherence to industry standards. Maintain organized design documentation, manage revisions, and work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines. Provide clear communication of design intent to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a draftsperson in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to medical equipment design
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
