Drafting Technician

BIM modelling-focused drafting role focusing on research and development of BIM within the AEC/Built Environment. The Drafting Technician operates under supervision to produce discipline-specific BIM models, adheres to the BIM execution plan and standards, coordinates with internal CKR disciplines and external consultants, and may lead the development of discipline BIM content for projects. Responsibilities include ensuring construction documents accuracy, collaborating across disciplines, preparing models for coordination meetings, and communicating project information via DWF for internal and external stakeholders. Entry-level position with potential progression toward Senior Drafting Technician; emphasizes independent thought, meeting deadlines, and effective liaison with clients, consultants, PMs, architects, and government bodies.
