Job Summary
Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for parts and produce fully-dimensioned, manufacturing drawings and wellhead stack-ups in compliance with API 6A requirements. Convert sketches, prototypes, and supplier data into CAD models, prepare Bills of Materials, and maintain the CAD library, templates, and drawing revisions. Collaborate directly with engineering to support sales, operations, and manufacturing while supplying drawing documentation to the inspection/quality department after production feedback. Work on-site in Midland, TX, five days a week, lifting 40 lbs and sitting, bending, standing, or walking for 8-10 hours per day. Join Sonic Connectors, a Superior Energy Services company, to assist in design and drawings of manufactured materials within API GA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience working in an Oil and Gas Industry
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CAD software, including Inventor Professional, Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Ability to adapt to new design tools and technologies
- Strong knowledge API 6A standards in design and manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Produces error-free

- Self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish
- Works with minimal supervision
