Job Summary
Drafter for Maguire's Steel Fabrication, working on fabrication, erection, and iron projects with weekend emphasis. Responsibilities include reviewing engineers’ specifications and drawings, performing plate layouts, producing shop drawings for fabrication, scheduling/ship anchoring bolts to foundations, and creating detailed cutting and radiography drawings. The role requires preparing/planning cutting programs, following up on approved shop drawings, ensuring drawings meet QA standards, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel in an office environment. Ideal candidates have two-year drafting training or equivalent experience, strong organizational, time-management, communication, and computer skills, and a team-oriented, detail-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
