Job Summary
Create production, technical, and documentation drawings for various components and assemblies while collaborating with Engineering and Production teams. Generate project take-offs and drawings required by the sales team by analyzing blueprint drawings, product layouts, and specifications to ensure accurate technical documentation. Calculate and verify quantities of required products to support timely quotations, and produce technical drawings for event pole projects. Develop CAD-based and Bluebeam-based technical drawings, along with standardized company templates, symbols, and title blocks to support consistent drafting workflows. Assist with special projects or assignments as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in lighting or related industries (customer service, inside sales, or similar)
- Architectural lighting industry experience is a plus
- Proficient with PC platforms and software: Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Adobe Acrobat
- Required: Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
- Quick learner with strong organizational skills
- Professional, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize urgent requests, and follow up effectively
- Fluent in English
- Energetic, people-oriented, tenacious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates are required to undergo a background check
- Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Architectural lighting industry experience is a plus
- Preferred (not required): SAP, AGI, AutoCAD, Photometric ToolBox
