Job Summary
The Drafter provides overall drafting support on various projects for Aboveground Storage Tank products, including layout and design work as directed by the engineering team. Responsibilities include correcting drawings from Engineering, picking-up red marks from the Checker, producing new drawings, performing basic layouts, and collaborating with project managers and the estimating team to meet deadlines. Candidates should have construction-related or general drafting experience, training in AutoCAD and/or Inventor, and a basic understanding of relevant standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ year’s construction-related drafting experience
- 4+ years general drafting experience
- Training in general drafting skills
- Basic knowledge/understanding of appropriate standards, i.e., API
- Understanding of general math and trigonometry functions
- General understanding of field construction and the ability to do complex layouts
- General computer knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of aboveground storage tank product lines and experience working with products
- Training in AutoCAD and/or Inventor
