Job Summary
The Drafter is responsible for providing drafting support on various projects for Aboveground Storage Tank products. This includes producing new drawings, performing basic layouts, correcting drawings from Engineering, picking up red marks from the Checker, and working closely with project managers and the estimating team to ensure deadlines are met. Candidates should have 2+ years of construction-related drafting experience or 4+ years of general drafting experience and be trained in AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years construction-related drafting experience or 4+ years general drafting experience
- Training in general drafting skills
- Training in AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Basic knowledge/understanding of appropriate standards, i.e., API
- Understanding of general math and trigonometry functions
- General understanding of field construction and ability to do complex layouts
- General computer knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of aboveground storage tank product lines
- Experience working with products
