Job Summary
Create precise two- and three-dimensional models for modular building projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor. Review engineering design drawings to identify clashes and coordinate discrepancies with engineers and project managers. Generate production, shop, and permit-ready detail drawings while gathering field changes to produce as-built drawings. Walk the fabrication floor to verify production methods align with approved designs and coordinate necessary changes. Communicate design conflicts and offer solution-oriented recommendations based on industry knowledge and construction methods.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of drafting experience
- Proficient in Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of industry standards and manufacturing/construction methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills for reporting and resolving drawing-related issues
- Close visual acuity
- Must pass a drug test
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information (ITAR/EAR)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee
