Job Summary
Create detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and nozzles, including welding details and 2D cross-sectional views, using AutoCAD, CADworx, and SpoolFab/Acron within VDC workflows. Apply strong knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering principles, and project specifications to ensure high accuracy in technical documentation while adhering to industry codes and standards. Maintain a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour workdays, requiring completion of mandatory safety tickets, drug and alcohol testing, and reliable transportation to site.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drafter in the design and construction of various projects
- Strong portfolio of relevant work in the Oil and Gas industry
- Proven proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, CADworx, and SpoolFab/Acron
- Familiar with detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and nozzles, including welding details and 2D cross-sectional views
- Experience working within VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) workflows
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering and/or architectural principles, and project specifications
- Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and design tools
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and technical documentation
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: WHMIS
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
- Must have own reliable transportation to site
- Completion of drug and alcohol testing
