Drafter

Draft detailed and assembly drawings of design components using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques. Consult with engineers to interpret design concepts and determine requirements for detailed working drawings. Locate files in the database library, load programs, and record completed job data. Examine electronic, electrical, and structural schematics to develop, compute, and verify specifications for drafting data. Compare logic element configurations with engineering schematics to convert, redesign, and modify elements. Review work orders and procedural manuals to resolve problems and modify designs as needed. Generate computer diagrams for final layout designs to produce layered photo masks and photo plotting designs. Create proposal schematics in accordance with governmental requirements. This casual status position has the potential to become full-time.
