Job Summary
Drafter-Associate Project Manager supports the Engineering Team with CAD drafting for power systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and engine/generator drawings. Creates CAD drawings and BOMs to meet customer specs and industry standards; reviews and verifies drawings with project managers/engineers and customers; tracks and coordinates projects through all phases while maintaining drafting quality and profitability. Maintains CAD files and software, demonstrates strong technical aptitude, and provides technical support to internal and external customers. Requires regular attendance, ability to meet deadlines, and up to 15% travel; on-site work with emphasis on safety and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree and/or specialized training in applicable field preferred
- Two years of job-related experience and/or training or equivalent experience preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proficiency with AutoDESK and SolidWorks; intermediate MS Office
