Job Summary
Monitor table game controls and inspect cards and dice to ensure full compliance with state, federal, and tribal regulatory requirements. Assist in monitoring payouts, handle customer and employee disputes, and act as signatory on jackpots while maintaining accountability for chips and monies. Evaluate employee performance, make recruitment and training recommendations, and restrict play of patrons involved in fraud. Maintain accurate attendance calendars, ensure a professional environment, and communicate regularly with staff on casino events. Work a 24-hour schedule adhering to Seneca Gaming Corporation policies and complete required training within nine months.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of dealing or Dual Rate Supervisory experience in two (2) core games
- Core games are BJ, RO, CR, MB, BACC
- Must be an experienced, results oriented, and hands-on professional
- Must demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility to the customers and employees
- Must possess ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
- Position requires fast, repetitive motion of hands and wrists, and frequent reaching and bending over gaming tables
- Must bend/lean over gaming table to ensure accuracy of the game
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment
- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
- Must adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
- Must be available for a 24-hour schedule
