Job Summary
The DQA Representative ensures that information and documentation needed for proper billing of claims is obtained and presented for all billable events in an assigned area. Responsibilities include knowledge and compliance with company policies and applicable laws, proper billing, coding, and posting procedures, maintaining security and privacy of patient information per HIPAA, providing excellent customer service to patients and providers, timely documentation review and submission to the billing office, and collaboration with Operations and Dispatch to ensure accurate information. Requires completing and maintaining applicable training, certification, and licensure; ability to work as part of a team; attention to detail; and willingness to travel locally as needed.
