Job Summary
Operate a range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, and excavators to move raw materials from the pit to the plant, while maintaining safety, adhering to MSHA rules, and supporting equipment maintenance and operator training. Responsibilities include optimizing loading efficiency, maintaining vehicle stability, coordinating with site supervisors, performing daily inspections and preventative maintenance, and assisting in plant repairs. Requires high school diploma or GED (or relevant experience), 1+ years of heavy equipment operation experience, and preferred technical/vocational training. The role emphasizes safety, problem solving, and teamwork within a mining/construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Technical training and vocational certification is preferred
- 1+ years of relevant experience operating Heavy Equipment in an Aggregate, Construction, or Mining environment
