Job Summary
Enforce building and property rules while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings to report unsafe activity, vandalism, and suspicious incidents. Greet visitors warmly, assist with entry, and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain daily activity logs, create incident reports for unique events, and train new personnel on proper procedures under management direction. Ensure all security equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during, and after each shift. Make decisions regarding site safety and security in accordance with post orders. This full-time role involves rotating shifts including Saturday and Sunday mornings, with Monday through Friday evenings, reporting to a Client Service Manager.

- Makes decisions regarding the safety & security of the site with the aid of United Protective Services post orders
- Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders
- Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site
- Observes and reports all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders
- Ensures all United Protective Services equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during and after each shift
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outside in the elements
- Superior customer service skills
- Must be able to engage in conversation with clients, customers and vendors
- High School Diploma or GED
