Job Summary
This part-time Downtown District Security Officer position offers $23 per hour to perform foot patrol and maintain general security of the assigned area overnight on Sundays and Mondays. Responsibilities include responding to security incidents, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and communicating effectively with clients and emergency services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High School graduate or GED required
- Possess and maintain a valid California Guard Registration (guard card)
- Have the legal right to work in the United States
- Fluent in English (fluency in other languages in addition to English a plus)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation
- Ability to read, write, understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions
- Ability to walk and/or stand in one location for extended periods of time and or complete foot patrols as required
- Ability to respond to emergency or incidents and work cooperatively with law enforcement and emergency services personnel
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks
