Job Summary
The Downhole Tool Technician performs maintenance, inspection, repair, delivery, and quality control of Fortress Downhole Tools products. Responsibilities include tool preparation, teardown, rebuilding, inventory tracking, and customer field support to ensure tools meet customer requirements and Fortress quality standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, and the ability to support both shop and field operations in a fast-paced environment, including operating forklifts, supporting QA/QC processes, coordinating tool deliveries/pickups with customer field representatives, and maintaining safety and organization in work areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
