Job Summary
Assist various department projects by gathering and organizing data to support special initiatives or reports. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions while collaborating with cross-functional groups to achieve project goals. Perform duties under direct supervision within an office or job site setting, potentially involving brief periods of standing or lifting up to 80 pounds. This unpaid, non-benefit eligible position requires active-duty military status within the last 180 days of service and commanding officer approval. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- Must be active-duty military in good standing with the DOW within the last 180 days of service contract
- Must receive commanding officer approval to participate
- Strong oral, written, and communication skills
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Comfortable talking with and interacting with others
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Outlook
