Job Summary
Operate CNC equipment to machine critical aerospace components (including 3- and 5-axis mills, mill-turning machines, and live tooling-equipped lathes) and program with Hypermill CAM for prototype, R&D, and one-off parts. Take cradle-to-grave ownership of machining projects to support rapid development hardware, reworks, and part modifications; assist with shop operations including tooling, workholding, and equipment maintenance. This role targets a Machinist II with 4+ years of experience in machining, CNC operation, and hands-on part programming through to finished parts, with preferred exposure to multi-axis and CAM packages in an aerospace setting. Colorado base compensation ranges from $27.68 to $36.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, and abilities, plus comprehensive benefits. Note: US citizenship or equivalent status required for eligibility; security clearance eligibility also required. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with robust benefits including PTO, parental leave, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and more.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in a machining environment
- Experience operating CNC equipment (lathe or mill)
- Demonstrated critical thinker
- Experience handling parts from programming through completed machined part
